Today We Reached 1,000 You Tube Subscribers!

A big cause for celebration! Today we added our 1,000th You Tube subscriber! It was just a few months ago that we sat at 100 subscribers. our new channel was just getting off the ground and Turner and I decided to really put some effort into growing our fan base. His wife Diamond chipped in with some really great advice and suggestions on different ways we could grow our channel, and, along with our production of 8 full episodes and countless vlog uploads, we have been able to enjoy relatively rapid growth.

Thanks to all of our views and of course our subscribers. Please tell your friends about our You Tube channel and we hope you enjoy the show!

Current blog post count totals:

Posts by Mena Man = 19

Hey Garvertron, You Ever Going to Post on the Blog?

Do I have to do everything myself around here?

Perhaps if I threaten to post a new, unflattering, photo of Garvertron daily until he publishes a blog post, that might give him enough of a nudge to finally post on OUR blog. We'll soon find out.

Here's a photo for day number 1. This can all be over, if he would just post. Post.

Look, I know he's busy with school, but that's no excuse.

It includes a newly designed battery grip, remote control, additional battery holder for using AA batteries, infrared receiver and all cables. All this for only $99 on eBay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/400575073897?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

And here's how it looks on the camera...

First Rehearsal Went Well (Video intro)

Garvertron and I, with the help of Frenchy the Expert and our production assistant Big C, recorded our first full rehearsal and over all I'd say it went well.

My original idea was to make the show 30 minutes long but seeing as the rehearsal went nearly 2 hours, I figured an hour would be more realistic.

We are doing one more rehearsal next weekend to get our audio and video recording method synced, get our show time down to one hour and to work out our on air chemistry.

I'll post up a few screen shots once the video is done rendering.

We are still waiting for the web site design to be finished, but I already had a look at the initial template and it is looking good so far. It looks a lot like the blog design. Clean and simple.

We are waiting on a few more graphic elements for the video production but that shouldn't take too long and will definitely be ready by next week.

Lastly, I have tested out the iTunes feed on my DJ web site http://www.felixg.com and it works great. So, once we are ready to roll with the first episode all media publishing and social media sources will be up and running!

Late October is still our goal for going on the air!

Pre-Production in Full Swing!

We've been busy getting ready for the premier of "Hey, Don't Shoot!". The order has been placed for the web site design and video elements. We've opened our accounts for all attached social media web sites including Twitter, You Tube, Flickr and Facebook. We've acquired all necessary hardware that we think we need to facilitate the podcast; microphones and audio mixer etc.

We'll be recording a full rehearsal next weekend to make sure everything works, after that, we'll only be waiting on the web site design to be completed and we'll be off and running!

It's looking like the premier will happen in late October. Stay tuned to the blog for more updates!
