The video was captured in stunning 4K on the Sony AX33 (above) and the Sony A7RII with Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 lens stabilized with the Beholder MS1 3 axis gimbal.

Austin and I had a great time shooting with the lovely Sarah. Sarah works part time as a "for hire" party model, mostly for kids parties, as a variety of Disney characters (i.e. Elsa, Pocahontas, Princess etc) and let me tell you, she is a real life Princess. She is absolutely one of the most beautiful models I've ever had the pleasure of working with and I've worked with a lot of them. That compliment aside, the shoot went extremely smooth, due in no small part to Austin's easy-going personality. Austin has got a great eye for photographic composition and the top local models are flocking to him for photo shoots. As you'll see below, it's easy to see why.
Austin employed his Sony A6000 (which he admits to purchasing after watching our most viewed video "The Top Ten Reasons Why You Should Buy a Sony A6000". Austin was anxious to try out his new Godox flash set up, which he purchased in order to take advantage of the High Speed Sync (HSS), which allows for shutter speeds up to 1/4000 of a second using the flash. This allows the shooter to maintain shallow depth of field, but not having the background over exposed. The results were excellent as you'll see in the photos below.
I had video duties on this day and shot with two cameras, each with it's own stabilizer. The Sony AX33 sat on a tripod the whole afternoon (moving from location to location) and I had the relatively compact Sony A7RII mounted on the Beholder MS1 3- Axis gimbal. Just a quick troubleshooting note on the MS1 gimbal; I ran into a small problem with it after this shoot. The quick release plate is secured onto the gimbal with a thumb tightened screw, which is located on the bottom of the gimbal plate. That screw seems to have been stripped some how and will no longer tighten. I have ordered a replacement from the manufacturer but think the issue might be with the female receiving end which is in the plate. If that's the case, i'll either have to order the complete replacement set OR send it in for repair. This issue isn't life or death because I can secure the plate (and camera) to the base with a strip of duct tape. Although not ideal, it is a quick fix so that I can continue to use the gimbal.4
The shoot only lasted about 90 minutes and we all said our goodbyes. I hope Austin and I can shoot with Sarah again.
